Huaraz:
Is the capital of Ancash, and is located in the heart of the Callejón de Huaylas. It has comfortable tourist services that let you enjoy a pleasant stay. ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM OF ANCASH
Located at Av Luzuriaga 762. Phone (043) 72-1551. The tours are Monday to Saturday 9:00-17:00, Sunday 9:00-14:00. On site there is a large collection of stone sculptures Recuay of culture, as well as ceramics and textiles from pre-Inca cultures Chavin, Huara White on Red, Mochica, Wari and Chimu.
SANCTUARY OF THE LORD OF LONELINESS
Located in the Plaza of the Lord of Soledad. Phone (043) 72-8878. Visits from Monday to Sunday 8:00-13:00 and 15:00-18:00. Built after the earthquake of 1970, save the image of the Lord de la Soledad, patron of the town of Huara, whose image dates from the time of the founding of the city, in the sixteenth century.
Archaeological remains of WAULLAC
A 2 km east of Lima (5 minutes by car). Waullac is an archaeological site dating from the era and belongs to the pre-Inca Wari period (600 AD). It would be a burial place of use consisting of five stone structures that resemble small niches.
LAGUNA DE CHURUP
A 28 km east of Lima (1 hour and 30 minutes by car), you reach the town of Pitec, thence by walking about 2 hours more. The lagoon is surrounded queñual of, and quisuares ichu. Archaeological remains of WILLCAHUAIN E Ichic WILLCAHUAIN

Huascaran National Park
