Description of the 2 days and 1 night tour in Arequipa

First day:Arequipa - Colca Valley

Early in the morning embark on an unforgettable bus trip to the Canyon del Colca, passing through Pampa Cañahuas in the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, habitat of vicuñas and alpacas (camelids of South America) visiting on the way the Mirador de los Andes, the Chucura crater and the Mirador de Chivay where you can admire pre-Columbian terraces that continue to be cultivated by the native Collaguas. Arrival to Chivay at 1:00 p.m. approx. Transfer to the selected lodge. Free afternoon, option to visit the thermal and medicinal baths of the region.

Second day: Condor Cross – Arequipa

Early in the morning, departure to La Cruz del Cóndor, where the largest bird in the world can be seen flying in circles over the green agricultural terraces that have been cultivated since pre-Inca times. Enjoy the wonderful views offered by the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world (3,000 m). Back in Chivay, visit the Mirador de Chinina, where the famous Tombs are located Colgantes and the Sifón Suspension Bridge that connects the towns of Yanque and Coporaque. We will continue to Yanque town where we will visit its beautiful church and its stone streets among other attractions. We will stop at the viewpoints of Choquetipo, Artahuilque and the town of Maca to observe the Colca Valley. After having lunch in a local restaurant, return to Arequipa arriving at the hotel selected at 18:00 hrs. Approximately.
