Description of the Tour 4 days and 3 nights (Huaraz, Laguna de Llanganuco, Chavín de Huantar - 2017)

First day: Travel by bus from Lima to Huaraz.

At 1:00 p.m., we will transfer you from your hotel in Lima, to the bus terminal, to board the bus to the city of Huaraz, the trip lasts approximately 8 hours. Upon arrival in the city of Huaraz, our staff will give you the welcome and transfer you back to your hotel, to rest.

Second day:Tour to the Callejón de Huaylas and Laguna de Llanganuco.

We will have breakfast at the hotel and at 09:30 hrs, we will start the tour to the Callejón de Huaylas, passing through the Andean towns of Carhuaz (tasting of natural fruit and liquor ice creams), Tinco, Mancos, Yungay (Campo Santo de Yungay), and finally we arrive at the Huascarán National Park. We will visit the famous Lagoons from Llanganuco (Chinacocha and Orcocha), where you can ride on horseback or by boat, take a short walk around these two lagoons contemplating the majesty of the snowy Huascarán, Yanapaccha, Paracas and Huandoy, in addition to the flora and fauna that surround these lagoons. Here local people sell typical products region of. Continuing the tour we will visit the city of Caraz (lunch), there you can visit small factories of dairy derivatives and other products of the region such as white manjar, fruit ice cream and liquor, honey, jelly, cheeses, cheeses, butter, pork ham legs, special breads, etc. In the afternoon we will return to Huaraz, where we will spend the night in the selected Hotel. Third day: Tour to the Temple of Chavín de Huantar.

Early in the morning, we will make an excursion to the Ceremonial Center most representative of the Peruvian High Culture, with approximately 3,000 years old. On the way you will know the towns of Callejón de Huaylas and Valle de Conchucos, we will pass through Recuay, Ticapampa and Cátac, arriving at the Querococha Lagoon. The tour continues its journey and this time you will pass through the impressive Cahuish Tunnel (4 550 meters above sea level and 480 m in length). Then we will descend to the Mosna river valley to reach Chavín, where we will visit the archaeological complex that is conformed by a set of stone buildings of truncated pyramidal shape, with overlapping platforms and sunken squares linked by stairways. The buildings feature interior galleries of complicated design, being in one of them the "Lanzón", monolith of 4.50 meters high, which represents the Chavín's main deity. Fourth day: City Tour in Huaraz and return trip to Lima.

We will have breakfast at the hotel and at 09:30 hrs, we will start the tour of the city of Huaraz and its surroundings, we will visit the Plaza de Armas, Archaeological Museum of Ancash (Largest lithic park in America), Iglesia del Señor de la Soledad, Jr. José Olaya (typical street of Huaraz), the viewpoint of Huaraz and the thermal baths of Monterrey. In the afternoon we will board the bus that will take us back to the city of Lima, we will leave at 1:00 p.m. and we will arrive in Lima averaging 9:00 p.m., our staff will be waiting for you and transfer you back to your hotel (Photo: The Cordillera Blanca and the Nevado del Huascarán).
